Crunchy fried bread balls filled with a rich gooey chocolate, perfect to treat yourself with a sweet snack or with a delightful dessert.
Makes about 5-6 bread balls, Preparation 20 mins, Cooking 10 mins
Note: The dosage is a bit of a guess.
- About 5-6 slices of pre-sliced white bread
- Leftover milk or white Chocolate
- Cold Whole Milk, about 100 ml
- Whisked eggs, 2
- White or Semolina’s Flour, to taste
- Breadcrumbs, to taste
- Peanut oil for deep-frying, about 300 ml
Method
Soak the slices of white bread in a bowl with cold milk, then squeeze out the excess milk.
Place a piace of chocolate in the middle, close and shape it into a ball. dip it into the flour, then whisked eggs, and finally breadcrumbs.
Heat peanut oil in a deep saucepan.
Fry the bread balls until golden brown. Place them on a kitchen-roll lined plate and serve.
