The mixed-seed-breaded swordfish turned out to be an excellent alternative to the classic breadcrumbs. And we also loaded up on minerals, protein and vitamins.
Serves 2, Preparation 5 mins, Cooking 5-6 mins
- 2 Swordfish steaks
- Mixed seeds, to taste
- A pinch of salt
- Olive Oil, 3 tablespoons + a drizzle
- Orange or Lemon Zest, optional
Method
Place the seeds on a shallow dish. Rub swordfish steaks with some olive oil, roll them in the seeds pressing a little on both sides so that they stick evenly.
Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick frying pan, cook the swordfish steaks on a low heat for no more than 2 minutes per side.
Drizzle the slices with the oil from the frying pan, add a pinch of salt and serve.
