We experienced this seed coating for our swordfish steaks. It is a great alternative to classic breadcrumbs and can also be excellent for meat. Basically a full load of minerals, protein and vitamins.

Serves 2, Preparation 5 mins, Cooking 5-6 mins

  • 2 Swordfish Steaks
  • Flaxseed, sesame and pumpkin seeds to taste
  • A pinch of salt
  • Olive Oil, 2 tablespoons + a drizzle
  • Orange or Lemon Zest, optional

Method

Place the seeds on a shallow dish. Massage the swordfish steaks with a little oil, then dip them in the seeds, pressing them a little on both sides with your hands so that they adhere healthy.

Heat 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil in a frying pan, cook swordfish steaks over a low heat for no more than 2 minutes per side.

Drizzle them with the oil from the frying pan, add a pinch of salt, add a little orange or lemon zest for a slight citrus note, if you like, serve.
